Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathy Fort Myers

While doctors and researchers have spent decades searching for new ways to administer cancer treatments, the current therapies that treat the disease almost always come with side effects. Chemotherapy is a treatment designed to kill cancer cells, but unfortunately, it can also affect the nerves connecting the spinal cord to muscles, skin, and internal organs. Disorders of peripheral nerves are common in chemotherapy patients, as well as other drug therapies.

Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathy

What Can Cause Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathy?

Until there is an advance of more effective cancer therapies, peripheral neuropathy complications of chemotherapy are increasing. Chemotherapy can cause degeneration of peripheral sensory and motor nerves, causing patients to see an increase in sensory disturbances, balance problems, or weakness.

Thomas C's 5-star Google review for SWFL Neuropathy

As a neuropathy patient, my life was significantly impacted by the numbness, tingling, and pain in my feet and hands. I had difficulty walking and performing simple tasks, and my quality of life was greatly reduced. I tried various treatments, including medication and physical therapy, but they only provided temporary relief. However, my life changed when I went to SWFL Neuropathy.

The therapy involved a combination of treatments, including Hakomed, Diowave Class IV Laser, exercise, and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). At first, I was skeptical about the therapy, but after a few sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms.

After several weeks of therapy, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my neuropathy symptoms. My numbness and tingling decreased, and the pain became more manageable. I was able to perform daily activities without difficulty, and my quality of life improved significantly.

Overall, AngioGenics therapy has been a life-changing experience for me. The combination of different therapies has provided me with long-term relief from my neuropathy symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Danielle Zappile to anyone struggling with neuropathy or other related conditions. She offers a holistic and effective approach to managing neuropathy symptoms, and it has significantly improved my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Zappile!
